In the world of Avalor, where rival kingdoms compete for influence and where resources and power stones shape the balance of power, Prince Rion finds himself at the center of a conflict far greater than a struggle for the throne. As his kingdom’s position declines, its rivals tighten their control within the Council of Kingdoms, and his disagreement with his father over how to confront the growing threat deepens, Rion begins taking matters into his own hands. Convinced that strength is the only way to protect his people, he sets out on a path that draws him ever deeper into a political and family conflict capable of reshaping the future of the entire kingdom.
When Rion is caught in a scheme that turns him from prince into an accused man, he is forced into exile beyond his homeland. But he does not leave alone. The clan he leads, along with his guards, chooses to follow him, making him responsible for an entire people who abandon their world and follow their leader into the unknown.
